This includes labor, materials, site preparation, permitting, and any modifications necessary to ensure secure, accessible installations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1312\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1312\"><strong data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1041\">Utility Make-Ready Infrastructure: <\/strong>Projects can apply funds toward utility coordination and infrastructure upgrades to make the site EV-ready. This may include transformer upgrades, panel work, conduit runs, or other electrical modifications required by the utility provider to support charging loads.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"441\" data-end=\"462\">Hardware\/Software: <\/strong>The grant covers the cost of Level 2 AC EV charging stations and associated on-going software platforms. Chargers must meet specific technical standards and be certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) to ensure reliability and safety. <em>(Note, <a href=\"https:\/\/swtchenergy.com\/technology\/\">SWTCH Chargers<\/a> are eligible for funding)<\/em><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1312\"><strong data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1350\">Operations &amp; Maintenance (O&amp;M): <\/strong>To ensure long-term performance and compliance with the program\u2019s uptime requirements, eligible costs include O&amp;M contracts that cover preventive maintenance, routine inspections, repair work, and service management. <em>(Note, <a href=\"https:\/\/swtchenergy.com\/services\/\">SWTCH Care+ O&amp;M service<\/a> would be eligible for funding )<\/em><\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1861\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1861\"><strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1602\">Networking &amp; Data Plans: <\/strong>The program also covers networking solutions that enable remote monitoring, uptime tracking, and user billing, all to ensure chargers stay connected and compliant. This includes ongoing data plan costs needed to maintain connectivity with the charging network.
