Full program details are below:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligibility: Publicly available chargers across Illinois, emphasis on new locations<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Applicants must be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A private organization AND\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be the owner of the proposed charging station location<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applicants that are ineligible:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Government entities or units of government. (government entities cannot be an applicant, but can be a site host of a charging station location)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Individuals\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Entities that have <\/span><b>NOT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> satisfied the GATA pre-qualification requirements. (see full list <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/epa.illinois.gov\/content\/dam\/soi\/en\/web\/epa\/topics\/air-quality\/driving-a-cleaner-illinois\/documents\/daci-ceja-charging-round-1-nofo.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on page 3<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Charging Stations and Location Requirements<\/h2>\n<p><b>If you\u2019re a property owner, here are some key program requirements for a successful application:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minimum of two charging station locations, with a minimum of at least two standalone chargers at each location (read: each location to have at least 4 ports).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There can be no existing charging stations at the location.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The charging station must be brand new, commercial grade light-duty DCFC equipment designed to charge light-duty vehicles.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each charging station must be accessible to drivers to initiate a charge session without a prior membership or network interaction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each charging station must be located at a charging station location for a minimum of five years after the initial in-service date of the charging station.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The charging station and charging station location must be accessible to any member of the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>For a summary of requirements for the EV charger and the chosen charging network:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The charging station must have multiple payment options for drivers. Applications with charging station locations <\/span><b>outside<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the following counties and townships will receive additional points during consideration:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Chicagoland:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties, Oswego Township in Kendall County and Aux Sable and Goose Lake townships in Grundy County\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Metro East: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Other:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Champaign, DeKalb, LaSalle, McLean, Peoria, Sangamon, and Winnebago counties<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Application Requirements<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any application submitted must be complete and include all of the information that is requested and in the below required forms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IEPA EV Charging Application\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Uniform Grant Application\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Uniform Grant Budget Template\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> IL444-5205 Grantee Conflict of Interest Disclosure\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application also must be signed by a person authorized to sign on the behalf of the applicant and submitted electronically to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:EPA.EVCharging@illinois.gov\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EPA.EVCharging@illinois.gov<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
